Esbjerg Museum is a museum of cultural history featuring three permanent exhibitions. These include: a prehistory exhibition covering the Iron Age and the Viking Age, and displaying finds and reconstructions linked to the Esbjerg area; an amber exhibition that relates the cultural and natural history of amber; and an exhibition dealing with the Esbjerg urban scene and featuring reconstructed shops, squares, a harbour and two flats. The museum also has two exhibition rooms in which a variety of special exhibitions are held
